The function of the exhaust system is that it draws gasses from the engine's exhaust ports. An exhaust that is of poor condition or just simply doesn’t suit your engine's characteristics will create an inefficient scavenging effect of the gasses

Q…Is my leaking exhaust effecting my fuel economy?
A…Yes. A leaking exhaust usually increases your fuel bill & contributes to power loss. Your mechanic or technician will also have a hard time tuning your engine properly.

Q…How much for a loud big bore exhaust on my 4 cylinder Hyundai & how much more power will I gain?
A…Our prices are very competitive but firstly let us determine what is best for your car, your hearing & your wallet (Let's try & do this job without you having to crawl to your bank manager).

Please consider the following points.

  • A loud noise is not always a good noise.

  • Big is not always better! You will get all noise, no action & a lack of backpressure on engine components that may considerably shorten their life span.

  • If you want your system to look big or wild then let's design a system the right size for your engine so you do experience power gain, create a sporty sound & finish off with a radical chrome or stainless tip. After all, in most cases the tip is all that people actually see!

Q…I’m off on a caravaning holiday. Can I do anything to my car to get more power & improve fuel economy without creating a loud droning monster?
A…An exhaust doesn’t have to be loud to be freeflowing. While modern motor vehicles are improving in efficiency the basic principles still apply. With improved air intakes & filters get clean air in, & with the correct freeflow mufflers your engine will run more efficiently to allow you to travel comfortably. And remember, keep your car well tuned.
